This information is provided as a resource for Ventura County residents that want to help our community cat populations.

A community cat is one that spends most or all of its time outside. This cat may be semi-owned by residents that feed it, or have no owner at all. Community cats include ferals that are fearful or wild, and semi-ferals. They can also be strays that have been lost or abandoned by their previous owners and friendly cats that are being fed by the neighborhood. These cats breed and contribute to cat overpopulation. The Community Cats Charity has come together to educate the public and provide TNR or Trap-Neuter-Return to manage overpopulation and disease.
